Small Talk, Big Booth: Thanks Abbott for including me in your Chicago Experience Center

I was lucky enough to be included in the Abbott booth, giving short 10 minute mini-talks on quality throughout the show. There was a lot going on at the Abbott booth, from full-screen videos, presentations on raised platforms, photo-booths with sledgehammers, and of course the usual instruments and computers and automation tracks, etc.

This booth was not just a booth, it was like a customer experience center, built for just three days of intensive immersion.

[Insider AACC tip: Abbott always has the softest carpet in their entire show, so if your feet are tired after trudging up and down all the aisles looking at the hundreds of exhibitors, you can always grab a moment of rest at the Abbott booth. Your feet will thank you.]

Yes, I got to wear one of those funny wrap-around head microphones.

You can see that I presented on one screen, but there was a tiny screen above me, and then a HUGE screen behind me. Plenty to look at for visitors.

Here you can see some more of the Abbott booth, very open, with a special box office, to the left, where you could go inside and talk about science if you wanted to.

Finally, I ended each talk with a picture of "The Westgard" as I usually do.
