Upcoming Workshop: Got Sigma?

Abbott Diagnostics is sponsoring a workshop on July 29th, 7:00 am at the AACC/ASCLS annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois.

I will be joining a laboratory manager who has perfected her operations to maximize the test output and minimize the turn-around time with automation, informatics, and a few new gee-whiz technologies. There will also be a clinician who will discuss how he interprets test results, and how he sees differences in the different laboratories (and instruments) that serve him.

it's an interesting "soup-to-nuts" overview of how a quality method in a qualty lab can help provide quality healthcare to the patient.
