Muchas Gracias, Lima, Simed, Intercal

Last month I was fortunate enough to attend the INTERCAL meeting in Lima, Peru, hosted by SIMED.

I've worked with SIMED for several years, but recently we have formalized the partnership between Westgard QC, Inc. and SIMED. We're planning even more collaboration and activities in South America together.

This year's Intercal was very special: it's the only workshop I have attend that was so practical and hands-on. Not only did we explain the theory of QC and Six Sigma metrics, we actually had the attendees operate small POC devices and run several QC points, plotting them, assessing them, and evaluating the meaning.

We also had prizes for those who demonstrated their skills.

Even though it was in Peru, we had a special contingent attending from Bolivia.
