Saint Francis Hospital Verification of Performance
Saint Francis Hospital of Tulsa, Oklahoma, becomes the highest volume laboratory in the US to achieve the Sigma Verification of Performance
Sigma Verification of Saint Francis Hospital Laboratory
Original Verification: June 1st, 2017
Duration of Verification: February 25th, 2020 through February 28th 2021
Saint Francis Hospital was founded by Mr. and Mrs. William K. Warren, Sr. in 1955 and opened its doors in 1960 in what was then the outskirts of Tulsa. The hospital originally consisted of a sixstory building with 275 acutecare beds and 40 newborn beds. Saint Francis in the 21st century has expanded considerably, It is now the only notforprofit health system still wholly owned and operated in Tulsa, Oklahoma. with a 1,112bed tertiary center, including the region's only children's hospital and level IV neonatal intensive care unit, a 168bed heart hospital and Tulsa's leading trauma and emergency center. The laboratory runs nearly 9 million tests per year, including more than 1600 K+ per day, more than 700 blood draws per day, more than 5,000 specimens per day, more than 1,700 outreach requests per day, and more than 30,000 results per day.

Performance of Saint Francis Hospital Laboratory
Congratulations to Amanda Coe for her Quality Manager Certification. From 2017.
In addition to the Sigmametrics, Saint Francis Laboratory is one of the pioneers in informatics of Sigmametrics. They worked together in Data Innovations to create a custom function to automatically pull performance data and calculate their Sigmametrics.
Congratulations to the entire laboratory of Sanit Francis Hospital for their accomplishments.
